I have been for a walk and the swallows are coming back - here is one I managed the photograph. They were wizzing about over my head at college reservoir, catching insects. So lovely to see them again.

Only spotted swallows in our part of north Cornwall on Sunday - I always look out for them as their chirping cheers the place up no end after a long miserable winter. Their arrival also signals the departure for more urban areas of the raucous hordes of starlings that we have to suffer over the winter.
